What are the pre-requisites?

Before completing Live With Purpose, you’ll need to work through the Discover Your Purpose program.

What will I learn in this program?

After completing Live With Purpose you’ll have clarity about your vision for an ideal life (or at least the version that feels right for now), your goals will be clear and you’ll have an understanding about how to move beyond your limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviours to achieve those goals.

You’ll also understand how to live in a more mindful way and you’ll have a toolkit of exercises to use to build self-belief and move beyond fear.

The last two modules include practical steps to help you identify your ideal career path and to make career change including tips about how to update your CV, prepare for interview, create your LinkedIn profile and to start networking.

How much time will I need to set aside?

Ideally, at least one day each week and maybe more for the final two modules. You’ll also find that you want to come back and refine your answers in the coming weeks.

Is there a Facebook group?

Not with this program. After running many online programs over the years, we’ve found that social media can be a bit of a distraction. In addition to that, many of my clients tell me they keep social media to a minimum. In our Kickstart Your Business program we do include a Facebook group.

Will it help as much as an in-person course or personal coaching?

The feedback we’ve had from earlier participants is that this content is enormously helpful. Having said that, this program is best suited to people who are happy working through exercises independently.

Before you sign up, it may help to consider the following questions. If you can’t answer yes to all four or if you’re facing some fairly serious life challenges at the moment, you may benefit more from beginning with one-to-one work with either a psychologist or coach.

  • Are you ready to start creating change in your life?
  • Are you willing to set aside at least a couple of hours each week (ideally on a regular basis) to work through the content?
  • Are you ready to take responsibility for challenging some of the self-defeating behaviours that limit your success? (e.g. procrastination, negative self-talk, blaming others for your failure etc).
  • Are you someone who is motivated to work on your own? If not,  you’ll find it beneficial to work with me one-on-one.

What are the technical requirements?

The program is delivered via email on a weekly basis. Each week you’ll receive a fillable PDF workbook, an MP3 meditation and a short video. If you prefer to work offline, you can print the workbook out and complete it by hand. If you’re using an iPad or iPhone, you’ll need to also download Adobe Acrobat in order to save your responses.

How do I download the MP3?

If you open the MP3 link on your computer, the file will save to your music or downloads folder. If you’re using a Mac, playing the MP3 will automatically add it to iTunes, then you can easily sync to your iPod or iPhone. On a PC, you may need to drag the files into your iTunes folder manually, so that next time you sync your iPod or iPhone they’ll add automatically. Please note that the iOS operating system does not allow files to be directly downloaded to your iPod or iPhone. Unfortunately, this is something that is outside our control.

Is it imperative that I do the meditations?

It isn’t imperative, but you’ll certainly get more from the program if you make time to listen to the meditations.

What if I feel stuck?

You might find you come up against an exercise that feels extra difficult. There are a few options I recommend. Hold off completing the exercise for a few days, but continue to ask yourself the following questions:

  • What’s getting in the way?
  • Is there a reason I’m resisting this?
