Who do you work with?

Kate’s clients are people who know how to fit into mainstream culture, but sometimes feel that there’s something missing in the traditional version of success. Some say they suffer from perfectionism or ‘imposter syndrome’ and many are struggling to find balance. You can read more about Kate’s ideal client here.

How does it work?

We start with an initial phone conversation to discuss your needs. Kate offers career, business, leadership and life coaching (or you can use the time to blend a few areas).

Most clients commence with a three-month program where sessions are held every two weeks.

I’m not sure if I want to get straight into a program. Can I do a single session?

Kate is very happy to offer single sessions if you’re not sure about committing to a program. Please get in touch and we’ll send you a link to our online booking calendar.

Does Kate see life coaching clients on the weekends?

Not currently. Her client hours are Monday afternoons, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kate has a couple of 5pm timeslots but for the most part, she sees clients during business hours.

I’m not sure if I should do a half-day session or the coaching program. What would you recommend?

The content of the discovery session and the coaching program is much the same but the half-day session is a deep-dive intensive. It’s different in the sense that you’ll get to the heart of things in a single day. After that, you’re welcome to book a program or a series of single sessions if you need more support. The program is a better option for you if you prefer a bit more time between your sessions to reflect and if you need accountability to help you stay on track.

I’m not that interested in mindfulness. Does that mean you’re the wrong coach for me?

Not at all. Not everyone Kate sees is interested in mindfulness but it still influences her approach to working with you. Being mindful is really just another way of saying being present, curious, self-aware and non-judgmental. If those qualities appeal, you’ll enjoy working with Kate. She’s not at all dogmatic in her approach and she’s respectful that it might not be everyone’s thing.

Your executive and leadership coaching fees are lower than most coaches. Why is that?

Kate spent almost a decade working as a professional coach in the city (charging the usual executive coaching fees) before moving her business to her home office on the Mornington Peninsula. These days she works directly with the client rather than the corporate. Let us know if your employer is funding your coaching and we’ll send a brochure with more information.

Still have questions about personal and professional coaching?

If you still have questions about the way that Kate works, or about coaching in general, you might find the answers on our frequently asked questions page or please contact us for a copy of our brochure or a proposal if your workplace is funding your coaching program. Coaching is generally tax deductible.
