Booking & Deposit
A booking is confirmed when your deposit of $500 is received. This deposit is non-refundable.
Guests must obtain full travel insurance within 14 days of booking. Insurance must cover medical expenses, retreat activities, trip cancellation, and personal emergencies that may prevent attendance. Insurance details must be provided to Total Balance Group Pty Ltd at the time of final payment.
Guests must be at least 18 years of age to attend. Guests under 18 may only attend if accompanied by a guardian aged 18+, and approval has been granted prior to booking.
Payment Policy
Full payment is required at least 90 days prior to retreat commencement.
If booking within 90 days of the retreat start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
If payment is not received by the due date, Total Balance Group Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
Guests are responsible for all additional costs not included in the retreat package (including flights, transfers, travel insurance, meals or activities outside the program).
Payments made by credit card incur a 1.7% service fee.
Cancellation Policy
Please read carefully before making a reservation.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another retreat or another guest if at least 90 days’ written notice is provided.
Cancellations more than 90 days before arrival: 50% refund of balance (excluding deposit), only if your place can be filled.
Cancellations 90 days or less before arrival: no refund.
No refunds or credits are offered for late arrivals, early departures, illness (including COVID-19), or unforeseen personal circumstances.
Total Balance Group Pty Ltd reserves the right to change retreat location if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. third-party delays, construction). In such cases, equivalent standard accommodation will be provided.
Policies may be amended at any time, and the most current version applies.
Health & Wellbeing
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable physical and mental health to participate in retreat activities.
Participation is not recommended for individuals with serious mental health conditions such as psychosis, schizophrenia, severe bipolar disorder, or other conditions that may be exacerbated by intensive yoga, meditation, or group retreat settings.
By booking, guests confirm they have disclosed any relevant medical or psychological conditions and take full responsibility for their own wellbeing during the retreat.
Total Balance Group Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse participation if it reasonably considers a guest unfit for the retreat.
Duty of Care & Medical Disclaimer
Retreat facilitators are not licensed medical or mental health professionals. The practices offered—including yoga, meditation, breathwork, and related wellness activities—are intended for general wellbeing and personal development, and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Guests should seek advice from a qualified health professional regarding any medical or psychological condition before attending.
In the event of illness, injury, or psychological distress during the retreat, facilitators will provide reasonable support and assistance but are not responsible for providing medical or psychiatric treatment.
Liability
Total Balance Group Pty Ltd shall not be held liable for events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: pandemic outbreak, war, civil unrest, strikes, industrial action, accidents, delays, supplier failure, technical problems with accommodation or transport, natural disasters, fire, theft, flooding, or adverse weather. In such cases, refunds or compensation cannot be provided.
Total Balance Group Pty Ltd accepts no liability for loss, damage, illness, or injury sustained during the retreat or in transit to and from the retreat. Guests must take full responsibility for their own medical, physical, and psychological fitness.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Total Balance Group Pty Ltd cannot be held liable for loss or damage of valuables.
Media Consent & Data Protection
Guests may be photographed or filmed during the retreat. By attending, you consent to the use of such images for promotional and marketing purposes unless you notify us in writing prior to the retreat.
